Farming and Friends Company System

What the Company System Is

The Company System is one of the largest social features added to Farming and Friends in 2026. It lets a player create a formal company — a named farm business — and invite other players to join under assigned roles. Companies own shared equipment, shared facilities, and a company farm plot that all members can access, effectively creating a persistent cooperative farm operation that survives across play sessions.

Before this system, cooperative farms relied on VIP servers and manual coordination. Companies add structure: a recognized in-game entity with a name, a logo, and a management layer. The owner can set roles, assign equipment permissions, and track contributions. Companies are particularly powerful on farms where multiple players invest in expensive infrastructure like the Chocolate Milk Factory or Sawmill — shared ownership makes cost-splitting and revenue-sharing clearer.

Creating and Registering a Company

Open the in-game menu and locate the Company option. You will need to choose a unique company name — it must not duplicate an existing company in the game. There is typically a registration fee in coins, similar to purchasing a license. Once registered, your company name appears above your character and in the server roster, signalling legitimacy to other players.

As the company founder, you are automatically the Owner. You can set the company description, upload a logo if customisation is available, and begin recruiting members. The registration is permanent unless you dissolve the company or transfer ownership to someone else. Choose your name carefully — it represents your brand within the game community.

Roles and Permissions

Companies use a role system to manage what each member can do. The Owner can promote or demote members, invite new players, remove members, and purchase shared equipment. Manager roles can approve certain purchases and oversee day-to-day operations. Worker roles can use company equipment and facilities but cannot invite others or modify company settings.

Setting roles correctly prevents accidents. A worker who accidentally sells a shared trailer or unpowers a company factory can disrupt the entire group. Managers should review their team's roles regularly and remove inactive members to free up roster slots for active farmers.

The Company Farm and Shared Assets

Each company gets access to a shared company farm plot — a dedicated layout that all members can build on and use simultaneously. This solves the problem of coordinating across two separate personal plots: everyone works on the same land, shares the same barns, and contributes to a common equipment pool. Company plots are visible to all members regardless of who is online.

Shared assets include company-owned tractors, trailers, factory buildings, and animal herds. When a member uses company equipment, the resource consumption — fuel, feed, or durability — typically counts against the shared pool rather than the individual player. Clarify with your company how operating costs are split: some companies track contributions manually in a spreadsheet, while others use in-game economics only.

Recruiting and Managing Members

Recruit through the Dunn Games Discord, the Roblox group, or in-game chat. Company owners share an invite link or code that interested players use to apply. Review applications based on activity level, goals alignment, and equipment availability — a member who only logs in occasionally may not justify a shared equipment slot.

Set clear expectations upfront: farm schedules, contribution expectations, and how profits are shared. Some companies split all revenue equally; others track individual contributions and pay out proportionally. Without clear rules, disputes arise when someone feels their work was undervalued. A short written agreement — even in a Discord pinned message — prevents most conflicts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a company in Farming and Friends?

Open the in-game menu, select Company, choose a unique name, and pay the registration fee. You become the Owner automatically.

What can company members do?

Role-dependent: Owners manage settings and finances, Managers oversee operations, and Workers use shared equipment and facilities.

Is the company farm separate from my personal plot?

Yes. The company farm is a shared layout all members can build on. Your personal plot remains private to you.

How are company profits shared?

That is decided by the company owner. In-game the economy is shared-resource; outside the game, companies typically use spreadsheets or verbal agreements for profit division.

Can I leave a company and keep my equipment?

Personal equipment you purchased remains yours. Company-owned equipment stays with the company. Disputes about contributions should be resolved before leaving.
