Farming and Friends Map
Overview of the Town and Farm Area
The Farming and Friends world divides into two functional zones: your private farm plot on the outer square road, and the commercial district in the center where every store lives. The February 2026 map update replaced the older layout where travel distance varied by plot position. Today all eight farm plots sit on the perimeter at equal distance from a central roundabout town. Whether you spawn on the north or east side, the drive to FarmCo, AnimalCo, the Vehicle Store, and WoodNStuff takes the same time — a major change from years of community strategy based on proximity.
Players still refer to the store cluster as the lower map area or town center depending on guide age. Both terms mean the same commercial hub: the place you drive to after every harvest, milking run, or forestry trip. Learn this hub first. Most session time loops between your field gate and these four stores plus the one-stop sell point.
2026 Central Town Layout
The redesigned map builds a roundabout town with FarmCo, LumberCo, and AnimalCo sharing one corner of the central district. TractorCo — the Vehicle Store where tractors, harvesters, and trailers sell — sits across the street with a customization garage attached. The one-stop sell point stands opposite TractorCo and accepts mixed loads: crops, lumber, and animal products in a single drop-off without visiting three separate chutes.
Mountains and scenery ring the map exterior. Farm plots occupy the inner square loop, two plots per road side, eight total. Farmer's Club group members can sometimes choose plot placement to neighbor friends, but no plot has a travel advantage anymore. Plan farm layout for internal efficiency — barn near factory, field near gate — not for shaving seconds off town drives.
The Four Main Stores
FarmCo handles seed purchases and crop sales with rotating price boards. AnimalCo sells animals, feed, shears, and buys eggs, milk, wool, and honey products. The Vehicle Store sells ZM80 upgrades, SRC6 replacements, plows, planters, trailers, and trucks. WoodNStuff sells tree seeds and chainsaws while buying logs and planks from forestry work.
Each store has a dedicated wiki page with buy/sell lists, interior navigation tips, and FAQ answers. Use this map hub for orientation, then drill into the store page matching your current errand — seeds at FarmCo, cows at AnimalCo, Level 2 seeder at the Vehicle Store, or oak logs at WoodNStuff.
- FarmCo — seeds in, harvested crops out; rainbow price boards
- AnimalCo — animals, feed, shears; animal product sales
- Vehicle Store — tractors Level 1–5, combines, trailers, trucks
- WoodNStuff — forestry seeds, chainsaws; log and plank sales
- One-stop sell point — mixed crop, lumber, and animal loads
Driving Routes and Traffic Tips
Exit your plot onto the square road and follow signs toward the central roundabout. VIP servers with friends can get crowded at the sell point during rainbow price windows — queue politely or stagger store runs. Reverse trailers onto FarmCo and AnimalCo elevated platforms using slow alignment; the interact prompt appears when wheels sit on markers.
Keep handbrake ready on slopes near plot entrances. Stuck tractors block cooperative farms for minutes. Park returning vehicles in a designated farm lane so combine harvesters can reach fields without weaving through barns.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the stores on the new map?
In the central town around the roundabout. FarmCo, LumberCo, and AnimalCo share one district corner; the Vehicle Store sits across the street; the one-stop sell point is opposite the Vehicle Store.
Does plot location matter anymore?
No for travel time. All eight perimeter plots are equal distance from town on the 2026 map.
What is the one-stop sell point?
A central unload location accepting crops, lumber, and animal products in one trip instead of visiting separate store chutes.
Is WoodNStuff near FarmCo?
WoodNStuff sits in the commercial district opposite AnimalCo in classic layout descriptions. On the 2026 map, follow town signage from the roundabout — all stores are within the same central cluster.
Where is LumberCo?
LumberCo groups with FarmCo and AnimalCo on one corner of the central district. It handles lumber-related sales overlapping WoodNStuff forestry products on some layouts.
