Farming and Friends AnimalCo
What AnimalCo Is
AnimalCo is the livestock and animal product store in Farming and Friends. Inside you buy chickens, cows, sheep, bees, animal food, shears, and related supplies. Outside you sell eggs, milk, wool bundles, honey, and other animal goods through dedicated animal product drop-offs separate from FarmCo crop chutes. Every animal-focused Goals task eventually sends you here.
The store branding uses a cow archway entrance for trailer alignment. New players receive a small animal trailer on their plot specifically so AnimalCo purchases are reachable early in progression — a quality-of-life change from older versions that delayed livestock until expensive trailers.
Location on the Map
AnimalCo sits in the central town commercial district on the 2026 map, grouped near FarmCo and LumberCo on the same roundabout corner cluster. WoodNStuff occupies the opposite side of the commercial area in traditional layout descriptions. Drive your outer-road loop to the roundabout, follow animal store signage, and align trailers with ground markers under the purchase archway before entering the interior shop UI.
Animal product selling zones use different platforms than crop chutes. Read signs carefully on first visit — new players sometimes queue at FarmCo with a milk trailer and wonder why the sell prompt fails.
What to Buy at AnimalCo
Purchase production animals once Goals licenses unlock: chickens for eggs, cows for milk, sheep for wool after the Sheep License near 7,200 XP, bees after Bee Goals progress. Sheep cost 3,000 coins each. Shears are required for wool collection. Animal food boxes refill feeders on your farm — budget recurring food cost into every herd expansion.
Buy animals only after preparing fenced pasture, feeders, and transport. Loose animals on an unprepared plot wander and waste purchase price. Barns for cow milking and coops for chickens are built on your farm, not bought inside AnimalCo, though related items may appear in building menus elsewhere.
What to Sell at AnimalCo
Sell eggs from chickens, milk from cows, wool bundles processed through spindels, and honey from bee hives at AnimalCo animal product unload zones. Wool requires five raw wool pieces per spindel bundle before sale. Chocolate milk factory output may sell through logistics routes involving pallets and the one-stop sell point depending on your load type — see the Chocolate Milk guide for factory-specific selling.
Animal product prices do not use the same rainbow board system as FarmCo crops, but batch timing still matters for session efficiency. Haul full trailer loads from your barn area to minimize repeated town trips equal for all plots on the new map.
Trailer Alignment and Store Access
Back your animal trailer onto the white markers beneath the cow archway. Enter AnimalCo when the game registers alignment. Select species from the pen interface and confirm purchases. Return to your farm before releasing animals into open land. Medium animal trailers expand capacity for larger cow herds used in chocolate milk production.
The 2026 map update improved animal pathfinding on farms, but AnimalCo purchase flow is unchanged: trailer first, fence second, food third, production fourth.
